Welcome

The mission of Asian Medical Conference on Child Health in Kagawa (AMCCH) is to improve the quality of perinatal-neonatal and pediatric cares in East and South East Asia.  As in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), it is highly important to reduce child and maternal mortalities to address extreme poverty.  This agenda would be further pursued in the following post MDGs to ensure healthy lives and to promote wellbeing for all.  The AMCCH serves future generation's health by fostering research collaboration on perinatal-neonatal and pediatric medicines in East and South East Asia.

AMCCH was hold in 2015 for the first time and is organized by the National Hospital Organizations: Shikoku Medical Center for Children and Adults (SMCCA).  Also since 2017, AMCCH is hosted by General Incorporated Association: Save the Children in Asia (GIA: SCA).  The main theme of this conference is “Hope and Future for Children and Mothers in Asia”.

National Hospital Organizations: Shikoku Medical Center for Children and Adults (SMCCA) is a Hospital located in Kagawa Prefecture, on Shikoku Island, Japan.  The city "Zentsuji" was founded on March 31, 1954 and this is where the Japanese monk, Kukai (aka. Kobo-Daishi) who was the Grand Master propagated the Buddhist Teaching was born.  In May 2013, two institutions of Medical Health Care for both Children and Adults were brought together into one very unique institution.
